Shafts with segments

Shafts with output segments are often used in very demanding industrial applications, especially in the paper industry. They are suitable for winding high-weight rolls under high torque. The robust aluminum or steel body and solid aluminum output segments can also handle steel tubes. The shafts are equipped with a thick rubber-textile inflatable tubing and a filling valve in the radial or axial direction.

Available models and designs:

aSEALING SEGMENTS FROM GRAY, ALUMINUM OR STEEL
For different applications, we supply rubber, aluminum or steel segments to the clamping shafts. Steel and aluminum segments are characterized by their high durability and durability. Rubber segments are suitable for clamping steel tubes and their good anti-slip protection.
SINGLE SCREWED SHAFT
Mounting on the flange or pin to the machine bearings. A bayonet mount is also common. It is very suitable for easy loading and unloading of rolls into the machine, most common on small rewinders, cutters and labels. The standard version is in steel because it is not necessary to manipulate it.

PNEUMATIC-MECHANICAL SHAFT
It serves for 100% concentric expansion of clamping segments. When inflated, it pushes the air pressure on the sliding piston, which mechanically prints the clamping segments using the trapezoidal profiles to perfectly tighten the cavity.
